Earrings Pilsner Urquell

The jewellery collection is the first realized cooperation between Plzeňský Prazdroj and Sutnarka. The Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art is a modern art school whose students receive education in a wide range of disciplines, especially design and applied art, under the guidance of a number of prominent artists and designers. The brief for Sutnara's students was simple - create an easily reproducible commercial jewellery piece themed around beer and brewing. The inspiration sources thus ranged from the curves of a beer glass and the colour of the beer to the beer foam itself and the shape of a hop cone.

The jewellery was exhibited in the Visitor Centre of Plzeňský Prazdroj in Pilsen and in the Prague offices of Myslbek. Employees and the public were given a unique opportunity to vote for the most beautiful one. We decided to support the three winning designs and financially ensure their production to the final form - and now you have the chance to get this unique jewellery too!

The earrings were inspired by the look of hop gardens and the growth of ponderous hops.
